I received 6 emails yesterday asking me to write an article on positive thinking tips ! I’m glad that you guys want positive thinking tips because positive thinking is one of the single most important aspects to achieving success in any endeavor.  I am going to show you exactly how to control the focus of your mind and create the life of your dreams.

Human beings walk around hallucinating that our experience of the world is real. We ignore or fail to pay attention to most of what is going on all the time. Our conscious mind isn’t capable of taking in everything at a specific point in time. As a result we delete or fail to pay attention to most of what’s going on at any given time.

The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your thoughts. You’ve requested positive thinking tips that’s the first step, I’m proud of you. When you notice yourself holding a negative thought thats perfectly fine, as long as you realize it. Once you realize that your off track you gain power, shift your focus to something positive! Most people walk around on autopilot and are so consumed by negative thought patterns they don’t consciously realize it.

One of the best positive thinking tips to shift your thoughts from negative and positive is a technique I call stacking. I will give you an example, if I’m feeling frustrated because I have so much work to complete and a deadlines approaching I don’t do myself any good by dwelling on how little time I have and how much work I have to complete. Instead I think of as many positive things I can which prove I can accomplish the task. The key is to take a minute or two and let your mind brainstorm and come up with as many positive answers in a row as possible. Eg. I’m smart, I have more than enough time, I’m going to accomplish this with ease, I know this topic like the back of my hand, etc. When you do this and shift your focus from negative to positive the results are miraculous. You can almost instantly feel a shift in your state of mind.

What I want you to do is turn off your thinking auto pilot and take control of your thoughts. In this moment what determines your focus is how you evaluate things. Thinking occurs mostly by asking ourselves questions. We can get the answer to any question we ask ourselves, our mind will search for the answer. If we ask positive questions we will get positive answers, if we ask negative questions we will get negative answers.

I am going to share with you 5 of my favorite questions to ask yourself every morning right when you wake up. If you start off the day by thinking positively your thoughts spiral in a positive direction and it creates positive momentum!

Each and every morning when you wake up ask yourself these 5 powerful questions. One more very important thing I want to stress is to MAKE SURE YOU FEEL the emotion in each question. Feel grateful, feel excited, feel happy etc. The underlying feeling is the key to success!

– What about that makes me grateful?

– How does that make me feel?

2) Who do I love? Who loves me? (Positive thinking tips)

– What about that makes me loving?

– How does that make me feel?

3) What am I excited about in my life now? (Positive thinking tips)

– What about that makes me excited?

– How does that make me feel?

4) What am I proud about in my life now? (Positive thinking tips)

– What about that makes me proud?

– How does that make me feel?

5) What am I enjoying most in life right now? (Positive thinking tips)

– What about that do I enjoy?

– How does that make me feel?
